Who we are
Security Doors 'R' Us is a trading name of Security Gates 'R' Us Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 12668831). Our registered office is 20 Coxon Street, Spondon, Derby DE21 7JG. Our trading address is Wohl Building, 2B Redbourne Avenue, London N3 2BS. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. What data we collect
- Contact form submissions: your name, email address, phone number, optional postcode, optional company name, and the details of your enquiry.
- Analytics data about how you use the site, collected only after you consent to analytics cookies.
- Your cookie preferences.
Why we use your data, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote or information. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering the enquiries you send us (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).
- To understand and improve how the site is used. Lawful basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time.
- To measure and improve our advertising. When you enquire after clicking one of our Google adverts, we tell Google Ads that an enquiry happened and, later, whether we were able to contact you, so that Google can show our adverts to more people like you. Google receives your details only in hashed form. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in advertising our business accurately (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time by emailing enquiries@securitydoorsrus.com.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Who we share your data with
We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:
- GoHighLevel, our customer-relationship system, stores and manages contact-form enquiries.
- Resend delivers the email notification of your enquiry to our team.
- Google Analytics provides anonymised website-usage statistics. Set only after you consent.
- Microsoft Clarity provides aggregated heatmaps and session insights to help us improve the site. Set only after you consent.
- Google Ads receives hashed details of enquiries and of past customers to measure our advertising and, in future, to recognise existing customers. Google cannot read the details and does not use them for its own purposes.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent.

Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict how we use your data;
- object to our use of your data;

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk. We would welcome the chance to put things right first.
Data retention
We retain contact form enquiries for 24 months. Analytics data is retained for 14 months (the Google Analytics default).
