Our aluminium doors are built to RC3 under BS EN 1627, an independently tested resistance class, with the same multi-point locking and anti-pick cylinder as our steel doors, and RC4 is available on request. Where the risk is higher, steel still leads on outright resistance, and we tell you honestly which suits your home at the free survey.

Yes. Our aluminium doors pair a thermally broken frame, which puts an insulating barrier between the inside and outside faces of the aluminium, with an insulated core and a full perimeter seal. That keeps the warmth in and gives a low U-value, as low as 0.8 W/m²K, so the door performs as well as it looks. The exact figure for your door is confirmed in writing at the survey.
